ONE MORE TIME!!!
Yes, this is pretty unbelievable. We have to create another Kid’s class. The ideal class size is 12. We can handle a group of 16 but anything bigger than that is really difficult. It is even more difficult to insure that everyone gets proper attention with anything over 12.
Remember we added a 2nd advanced class on Saturdays at 7:00 am a few months back well now we are going to have to add Mondays from 5:00 – 6:00 to meet the needs of the group. Also recently we added a Kid’s groundwork class on Wednesdays from 5:00 – 5:45. (Note: we really start at 4:45 but some people can’t make it that early so those who can get some extra work.)
Unfortunately this will mean we need to re-organize the groups. It was pointed out to me that it would make logical sense to move the white belts to Monday. Based on these two points; First- you would then have a progressive week. White Belts on Monday, Tuesday- Yellow/Orange and then Thursday- Purple & Up. Note: Yes- this will affect Orange Belts too. They are moving back to Tuesdays. For those already coming to Thursdays and can’t make the switch back to Tuesdays, we will grandfather you into Thursdays but any new Orange belts will need to attend on Tuesdays. Additionally Orange belts have a choice of attending 7:00 or 8:00 a.m. classes on Saturdays. Currently, it is preferred that they attend 7:00 class. Remember upper ranking students can always attend a lower ranking class but they need to remember the class will focus more on the lower ranking requirements. If there is enough staff and/or time specific attention to the upper ranks requirements will be addressed. Whew!
Second- The Yellow Belts have been coming to Tuesdays longer so it might be more difficult for them to change schedules to come on Mondays.
Please remember where ever possible we will make certain scheduling concessions to fit the convenience of the Family Memberships to have a simple schedule.
Because we have a tournament coming up in October we will try to start this class Monday October 5th. This will allow us the opportunity to focus on the tournament in every class and address specific needs.
